90s Throwback: Joyful, Joyful

All I know is, to all those reading, y’all better not act like you weren’t taken to CHUUCH (Yes, I said CHUUCH!) when these kids took to the stage and turned a very gloomy Joyful, Joyful into a R&B/Pop song. Again, I am a Lauryn Hill junkie… and this movie is where I fell in love with her. This is also where I fell in love with Maggie Smith, who was Mother Superior (head nun) and Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter series. Anyway, Sister Act 2, one of the best African American movies ever created and one of the best renditions of Joyful, Joyful I’ve ever heard.

Now watch, listen and go to CHUUCH!
