Despicable Me 2 hits theaters July 3rd (which we’re super excited about), but Pharrell Williams and Heitor Pereira, who worked on the first movie soundtrack together have already dropped Happy, the first of 3 songs Pharrell contributed to the highly anticipated sequel.
It’s a great track that does exactly what the title says. It has an old school tempo and bounce that makes you move your shoulders, bop your head and sing along, feeling happy while you do it. And no old school song is complete without the soul clap and melodic falsettos. Get into the song and get into a few still shots from the upcoming movie.
