Welcome to our recap of the 2013 Cyber PR Digital Press Conference.

CyberPR® is a boutique online PR firm located in New York that has worked with more than 1,800 clients over 17 years in business. They connect their clients to a host of media outlets including blogs and I’ve been lucky enough to work with them for the past year. Some of their clients are featured here on aEM… Jensen Reed, Malik Work & Crystal Waters to name a few.

They hosted their annual event at the Cyber PR brownstone in Park Slope (BROOKLYN!), which was AMAZING. The layout, the art, the decor, down to the very last detail, was eye-popping, adventurous & inspiring. There was live performances, great networking and sharing of abilities with new people, great food and of course, the great Cyber PR staff.

I finally got to meet with my contact at Cyber PR, Jon Ostrow. You guys can thank him for all the great artists we’ve featured from their firm. He set aside some time for me to interview a couple of the artists that performed… Greater Alexander, Ken Coulson of Gatsby’s Green Light & Scott Krokoff. You’ll be able to listen to those interviews soon.

I also got a chance to catch up with the head honcho of Cyber PR, Ariel Hyatt, who I met at the CMJ Music Marathon last year. She is responsible for the driving force that is this PR firm. She doesn’t know it, but she’s also a major reason for the direction aEM has taken. When I gave her my business card last year, she read the slogan at the time, Citizens of HIP HOP and told me, although I may feature other types of music on the blog, the phrase limits what I’ll be able to do. She was right… and now we’re here (AWESOME!). So big shout out and even bigger thanks to Ariel for the words of wisdom.

To the artists, musicians, bloggers, authors, the Cyber PR team, and anyone else that attended, thank you for a wonderful event. Time well spent. I hope to see you all again next year!

Before you go though, check out some of the shots I got from the event yesterday. Enjoy!
