#MOSHPITMISFITS

ART is INFINITE, so why LIMIT ourselves to just one part? Music is OUR religion. We do it well… but it’s hardly our only avenue of promotion.

MIXXD.NET, has the same purpose as it’s predecesor AEMNYC, to promote the arts, spread the vast culture and stand side by side with the independent creators who inhabit and enrich the arts community. Our main focus is music. It is the only language on Earth to remain universal & enlightening… but we’ve become SO MUCH MORE than that now.

The Urban UNDRGRND Collective is tailored as an outlet for the Underground Arts Community. The network of artisans, individuals & teams behind us is cultured, deep, vast & ALIVE. Allow us to introduce you to our teams & The Alumni of AEMNYC.com, an extremely diverse group who’ve allowed us to share their craft with the world. Are you listening? We are the Voice of the UNDRGRND.

No Boxes ENT.

A Box. Referred to as a container with a flat base and sides, typically square or rectangular and having a lid. Its use is to contain or enclose. By definition it’s everything that destroys a creative mind. Its threat to being creative is the sole purpose of No Boxes Ent.

Producer and songwriter Britney Benson and Performing Artist Marc Andre are anything but usual. Not understood by the mainstream of the entertainment industry, they’ve watched countless doors close to their ideas. Unapologetic for their uniqueness they refused to be the norm.

With no permits, budget, or permission the show executes what we know as “Gorilla Style Production.” The cameras power on and everything from start to finish is captured on film. They do what most are afraid to. They travel in the areas that cameras aren’t allowed. Their only option is to proceed in this manner. The streets of New York are so much more than just the shows setting. The city of New York is the office of No Boxes Ent. And the show gives their viewers a bird’s eye view into every aspect of the city’s night life.

Although the initial “turn up” is entertaining, No Boxes Ent will never lose the integrity of why they were created. They are the voice of the voiceless. They listen to the unheard. For the creative minds they encounter, Britney Benson and Marc Andre have vowed to open the same doors that were once closed to their ideas. They serve as a platform for creative musicians, painters, designers and performers of all kind. With that said, remove the lid of your mind… Step away from your box…and be part of this journey with us.

Joga’s EYE Photography

Tony Joga is a self-taught 10 yr veteran photographer from Brooklyn, NY whose catalyst for success was gaining the use of his late fathers camera in 2013.  Joga’s early work includes many landscapes / scenery shots as well as headshot and a variety of events (Cigars and Stilettos, Activate, networking events). Since receiving his fathers camera, he’s taken on many new projects, most notably being No Boxes ENT., a platform for artist to be heard and cultivated, and a way for Joga and the rest of the No Boxes ENT. team to give back to the culture.

A few bumps in the road has turned No Boxes ENT. from just another interview web series to the unpredictably fun and informational show and has driven Joga from being just behind the camera shooting video, to becoming editor, producer, and creative director.

In the future, Joga plans on taking No Boxes ENT. to new heights, creating an empire, more amazing and diverse of a platform for artist on the rise to express themselves.  Being that landscapes and scenery is what started it all, he aspires to one day work for National Geographic.

“Photography is the dream I cant wake up from.”

“If you don’t indulge, it won’t exist.

With that being said, we decree…

The Underground Community has undergone several changes since the phrase was coined in the 1960s & every musically inclined person/music culture has its own interpretation. Here on AEMNYC, our interpretation is simple. It’s a collective of the talent, thoughts & words of creators (and the people who help build their foundations) associated with what we’ve dubbed, the UndrGrnd.

We will feature the unknown talent with a message & something positive to say. We will feature the unknown talent that represents their craft without leaving something to be desired. We are declaring war on the unknowns without a passion for their craft, who just get on the bandwagon thinking the craft they choose is a quick buck. We will feature those who put the work, the hours, the physical, the mental, the emotional & the spiritual into their craft. We will feature those who need, want & have a voice, but no outlet to showcase it.

We respect the craft. We respect the time and effort put into your craft. We respect the thought process. We respect your craft down to the pen and paper used to put your craft in motion. We want nothing less than to show the world how talented you are. The UNDRGRND is built on that principle and this is what we declare. This is The Urban UNDRGRND Manifesto.
